Okay so what's going on right now...well band camp started last week. Yea it's pretty boring but we had a Clarinet and Flute Party Saturday, it it was so much fun! We played volleyball and ate pizza and tacos and made our poster for the band hall, ours says "Here's Your Sign, Flutes 05-06" and its got potato heads on it. I will be a writer for the Star Telegram's Teen section called 'Whatever', I am pretty excited about it, hopefully I can get some stories in there. I went to Sam Moon's yesterday and got two purses and two necklaces.

Key Club is finally getting started, which I am really excited about. There was a huge fiasco with the parking for this year but it is finally resolved and Student Body Officers will still get the first 5 spots. YES! Student Council Workshop was a bust and I didn't really have all that much fun, but we got a couple good ideas. i tried out for the flute solo but the band directors hate me so i don't think I will get it and it will probably be Jared and Lauren. But I will be optimistic and whatever happens I will be okay with. My whole schedule is so messed up and it is making me really mad. I will only be able to have 4 AP classes and I can't take soccer class cause it won't fit even though I got two empty periods. The coach might not even want me on the team now. I am hoping though everything will work out good cause it's my senior year and i want it to be good.

I guess that's it, I should probably update this a little more often, I mean if I don't what will all ya'll do without me?..... 

I am sick today. It's awful. But I think I am getting better. I will be at Student Council worskshop camp next week, I hope it's fun. I ordered my letterjacket finally. I got my AP Chemistry score back...and I made a 4. Yea I was pretty happy. I get to graduate DAP and wear a black robe!! My history score wasn't on there so I don't know that one but it probably isn't too good.

Anyways, I went to church camp last week and it was so amazing. It was so great. I can't even describe it. So many lives were changed and decisions made that just amazes me.  I had an awesome family group, and I think I might have figured out what I want to do with my life. God showed me that he wants to see my strength and not that I am comfortable. Which I struggle with.

I became so close to so many people. Now we have this tight knit group and I have seen all of them everyday since camp.  So it's Robb, Angela, Emily, Ryan, Lauren, Ricky, Ryan and Aaron Morgan, Megan, Thrash Daddy, Kaitlin, and me.  We went and saw our band play at this coffeeshop last Saturday and tonight we are all going to the Door to see them play and then spending the night at the Lindley's house.  It's so great for our youth group that we are so tight with each other now.

At camp the drummer for the band was this guy named LaDrell.  He was so totally cool. He was like this star football player in high school and pretty smart too, and all these colleges were wanting him to come to their school and giving him full rides! All these great colleges, even Rice!! But he didn't go to any of them, instead he went to missionary school. So amazing. He was such an awesome guy he wrote me this note that meant so much to me because it was about things I was dealing with and there is no way he could have know, but it was so uplifting and touching. Now something funny...

We did this on going thing during camp of telling people, "I own you!" it was so much fun. And someone told LaDrell I own you, and he said, "No, Mr. Lincoln said I was free." It was hilarious.  

I had so much fun at church today. I was dissapointed in the Spurs yesterday cause they could have put it away but I guess they will just have to beat the Pistons tomorrow. I found out Wade Foust is going to be coming back to BHS with his brother Garrett, who is pretty cute (as Angela would say),to play some soccer and  bring some talent to the guys soccer team. I am so happy right now it feels great. And Krissy, our talk today at church was totally awesome, you made me feel so great about how I handled things and Sam too. Thanks.

Okay, so today I have come to a realization.  This year is going to be all about me.  This is my time and I am not going to waste it on anything that's not important because this is going to be a great year and my future will depend on it. So why waste it?  No distractions.  There are things I want to do and I will do them because I don't just hope for the best, I seek the best.  This is going to be an awesome year.  I am so empowered and nothing is going to stand in my way.

Okay so I got tons of stuff going on, or maybe it just seems like that.  Found out my SAT scores, reading 590, math 680, writing 600 with a 10 on my essay, for a grand total of 1870.  I was kinda disappointed cause I don't think that's up to Rice standards.  And Krissy no more boy troubles because I realized he wasn't worth it which you told me all along, so now I am totally cool.  Work is fun, no more passing out.  I think I am going down to Houston this weekend.  I got some new clothes from Express.  Now I am going to try to take up the oboe, and I finally ordered my letter jacket.
